After
10 years of corporate HR experience, spanning 4
continents, Gil decided it was time to tackle her next
adventure and 2002 saw the birth of
Advantage
Management Consulting.
Gil started
her professional career by completing an ‘undergraduate
MBA’ (B.Bus.Sci.) from the University of Cape Town. She
has since developed her skill and knowledge of business
through international Human Resources experience in a
broad range of industries in South Africa, New Zealand,
Britain and Canada.
When she
decided to specialise in coaching and facilitation she
carefully selected the Coaches Training Institute for
the depth and breadth of scope in their training. Since
graduating as a co-active coach, Gil has proven she has
the combination of skills, knowledge and personality to
make a difference.
Gil’s clients
consistently rate her impact highly. Her no-hype
approach with a clear “bottom line” focus is a breath of
fresh air. And a fresh approach is a lot of what Gil is
all about.
Working with
senior management she utilises her pragmatic and
insightful personality to ask the difficult questions
that need to be asked before constructive change can
take place.
Advantage Management Consulting was created as a vehicle
for Gil to continue to improve the lives of business
executives through the strategic, empowering disciplines
of facilitation and coaching.
Gil’s philosophy is one of creating lasting impact

through the development of their executives’ potential.
