Dale Robins is a highly
skilled performance coach and health counsellor. Her
passion for life and love for others is what makes her
such an inspiration to those she works with. Dale’s
twenty-five years of experience in fitness, health and
wellness adds to the enrichment she provides to her
clientele.Active
in the community, Dale has her column in the Event Life
newspaper titles "Keep’in Fit", as well has volunteered
for the Elizabeth Fry sexual assault crisis line, The
Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Happy Kids Society.
Dale has also worked
extensively with high risk youth in the Kelowna
community and believes that our youth are our greatest
asset! Helping parents and youth find healthy
alternatives and positive changes in their lives gives
Dale great joy and satisfaction in her work.
Dale’s fitness program,
"Get Lean for Life" has been her focus for the last
three years. "Get Lean for Life" is a six week
outdoor fitness and nutritional program designed to get
results and help you create life lasting changes. "With
so many books and so called diets out there, achieving
weight loss and wellness can be confusing and
overwhelming for most of us. I wanted to create a
program that gets results, is based on common sense and
is easy and fun to do. Developing a lifestyle where
weight loss, good health and happiness can be achieved
was what inspired me to create this program."
Dale lives in the
Okanagan, is mother of three sons and proud grandmother
of three year old Hailey. Her ambitions in life are
travel, studying Yoga, and helping to create a world
free of pain and suffering.
Dale’s formal training in
fitness and health is from Okanagan University College,
where she has certification as a Personal Fitness
Trainer. She also holds certification as a Yoga and
Pilates Instructor from Physical Mind Institute in New
York and is Red Cross Certified in Emergency First Aid
and CPR.
Dale’s accreditation as a
counsellor and therapist is from the Vancouver College
of Counsellor Training where she holds a Diploma of
Counselling Practice, and is a member of The Canadian
Professional Counsellors Association.
Dale is owns and operates
her business in Kelowna, Designed for Life,
Personal Health Development and is available for
workshops and seminars as well as private training and
personal counselling.
